All of the quests were great as even a simple fetch quest is fun because there is always nice banter and cute designs with them. The biggest highlight of the game to me is honestly the interact button, there is so much dialogue associated with everything and it is all a joy to read, the only thing that could make it better is an indicator if you are near new interact dialogue so you don't have a chance of missing anything. There are some big missed opportunities with the story/characters.īut my god this game is just so cute, the characters are fun, and the writing is rock solid and that trumps all to me. The action commands/block timings can be pretty jank They took some of the more annoying elements from Paper Mario without thinking if it actually worked well. It can be really hard to tell who is talking at any given moment. The settings menu is really poorly designed (which is how I only figured out you can turn off the button mashing during chapter 6 out of 7)
